FANTASY TRIPS
The very first road trip I remember was on a snowy day in the late 50’s. I arranged four dining room chairs in two rows, loaded my favorite dolls in the “back seat” and took off for California. The Rand McNally road atlas led me west on US Hwy 6 from Des Moines to probably somewhere in Nevada before I finally gave up. (more…)
